55 Villages in Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh, Benefit from Solar and LED Lighting in Har Gaon Roshan Initiative

Signify, the global leader in lighting, has enhanced the lives of over 70,000 residents in 55 villages in Chhatarpur District, Madhya Pradesh, through its ‘Har Gaon Roshan’ Corporate Social Responsibility program. This initiative, executed in partnership with the NGO Haritika, involved the installation of 2,000 energy-efficient LED streetlights, 700 solar home lighting systems, and 100 solar streetlights, significantly improving safety for women, tourists, and the community. Nikhil Gupta, Head of Marketing, expressed that the project exemplifies Signify’s commitment to using innovative lighting solutions for social impact, aiming to foster a safer and economically vibrant environment in tribal villages.
