64th Annual Traer Lions Club Lighting Contest Begins
The Traer Lions Club is excited to announce that this year’s annual lighting contest will be open to all residents of the North Tama School District, including both town and rural participants. Contest judging is scheduled for December 11 and 12, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.; country residents must inform the club of their addresses to ensure their displays are judged. Judging will be based on a point system across three categories: beauty, lighting, and Christmas spirit. This year’s prizes include $100 for first place, $75 for second place, and $50 for third place, with previous first-place winners ineligible for top honors.
