Signify Pledges Support for Over 33,000 Food-Impacted Families in West Tripura District Through LED Light Initiatives

In a significant initiative to aid communities affected by recent floods in West Tripura district, Signify, a global leader in lighting, has launched a project to provide emergency LED lighting to approximately 6,600 flood-impacted households. Executed in partnership with the local District Administration and Agartala Municipal Corporation, this project is part of Signify’s ‘Har Gaon Roshan’ CSR program and aims to restore normalcy and safety during power outages. The initiative underscores the importance of illumination in enhancing quality of life, allowing families to function effectively and children to study safely. Scheduled to run from September to November, the project highlights Signify’s commitment to leveraging technology for social good and supports the resilience of affected communities in their recovery efforts.
