This milestone follows several months of intensive work, including the installation of waterproof membranes, drainage systems, and undersoil heating. A hybrid pitch will feature synthetic fibers stitched into the grass for added durability. Meanwhile, stunning lighting tests showcased the stadium’s striking design, illuminating its curved east stand and plaza area along the Mersey waterfront, heralding the venue’s future as a remarkable landmark.
