Tragic Incident in Ghatkopar: 61-Year-Old Falls to Death from 11th Floor While Installing LED Lights

On October 23, a tragic accident in Ghatkopar West claimed the life of 61-year-old carpenter Manhar Ishwarlal Parmar, who fell from the eleventh floor while installing LED lights in the Crystal Building. Parmar, from Airoli, Navi Mumbai, was working for electrical contractor Anand Sapant at the time of the incident and was found without any safety gear. Witnesses reported that Parmar lost his balance during the installation process. He was rushed to Rajawadi Hospital but was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. In light of the circumstances, police have charged Sapant with negligence leading to death under Section 106 of the legal code.
