Mayo County Council’s new strategic capital delivery team, led by Pat Staunton, has provided updates on two significant projects within the Westport-Belmullet Municipal District during a recent meeting. The team is focusing on regenerating the former Sisters of Mercy Convent in Westport and revitalizing Newport, both critical to the region’s development.
