Successful Testing of LED Tower Mast Light by NTH

The National Test House (NTH) in Kolkata has successfully conducted specialized testing on a newly designed “LED Tower Mast Light” intended for extreme environmental conditions, including sub-zero temperatures and high altitudes. The tests, carried out in the Lamp and Photometric laboratory, adhered to specific Indian standards and involved rigorous High-Altitude testing above 1800 meters in Darjeeling. NTH’s advanced laboratory is equipped with the latest technology to evaluate LED products, supporting India’s shift toward energy-efficient lighting and facilitating significant economic benefits under the “Atmanirbhar Bharat” initiative. As the only government laboratory offering these services and boasting ISO accreditation, NTH plays a vital role in ensuring compliance with national and international safety and performance standards across various industries since its establishment in 1912.
