Mount Roskill’s Keith Hay Park has received significant upgrades with the installation of new LED floodlights, enhancing the sporting experience for local teams. This project, funded by the Puketāpapa Local Board, aims to improve lighting quality while reducing energy consumption and maintenance costs. Puketāpapa Local Board Chair Ella Kumar emphasized the importance of providing high-quality facilities to the community, noting similar upgrades are planned for other local parks. Adam Salmon, manager of Auckland United FC, praised the new lights, reporting positive feedback from players and improved training conditions for the more than 2,000 active club members who utilize the fields daily.
