Main Street Shines Bright with Community House Celebration in Moorestown

The Community House of Moorestown celebrated its 13th annual tree lighting and holiday event on December 2, featuring a variety of festive activities including performances by local dance groups, the Moorestown High School Madrigals, and a visit from Santa, all hosted by meteorologist Kathy Orr and broadcast live on FOX 29 News Philadelphia. The event, sponsored by The Bank of Princeton, highlighted community support with contributions from local organizations and businesses, including a new 12-foot menorah introduced by the Moorestown Jewish Association in celebration of Hanukkah. Reflecting on the occasion, Community House Vice President Haynes Hendrickson and Executive Director Pam Henshall expressed gratitude for the community’s participation and enthusiasm, while announcing a county-wide toy drive to collect new, unwrapped items.
