Float Financial has secured 70 million Canadian dollars (approximately $49 million) in a Series B funding round, aimed at enhancing its business finance platform for Canadian enterprises. This latest funding, combined with a previously disclosed credit facility of 50 million Canadian dollars (about $38 million), brings the total funding raised by Float over the last year to 120 million Canadian dollars (around $83 million). The company, which currently supports 4,000 businesses with financial management solutions, has experienced significant growth since its Series A round in November 2021, including a 45-fold increase in total payment volume and a 140-fold rise in credit issuance. The investment, led by Growth Equity at Goldman Sachs Alternatives, will further this momentum and expand Float Financial’s offerings to better serve the evolving needs of Canadian businesses.
