Mississippi State Introduces LED Lighting at Davis Wade Stadium

Mississippi State University is set to enhance the fan experience at Davis Wade stadium with a major upgrade to its lighting system, set for 2025. Athletic Director Zac Selmon announced the installation of state-of-the-art LED lights, which aim to elevate the gameday atmosphere in the second oldest on-campus stadium in the U.S. The new lighting, designed for dynamic use during games, follows years of calls from fans for improvements in both lighting and sound. Head coach Jeff Lebby emphasized that the upgraded visibility and special effects will significantly enhance player performance and create a vibrant home-field advantage. This initiative is part of a broader commitment by MSU’s administration to modernize stadium amenities and maintain competitive excellence in college football. Techline sports Lighting will lead the design of these enhancements.
