Major Chinese Lighting Company Partners with Turkish Firm to Establish Joint Venture

Borled, a subsidiary of the Turkish Borsan Group, has formed a strategic partnership with China’s Lixin Lighting, aiming to enhance their presence in both domestic and international lighting markets. The partnership agreement was signed at Borled’s factory in Samsun, attended by representatives from both companies. Adnan Olmez, Chairman of Borsan Group, announced plans to invest $25 million over the next three years in technology transfer, research and development, and capacity expansion, with a target to triple their performance and achieve $35 million in revenue. Lixin Lighting, boasting two decades of experience in the LED sector, aims to leverage its established capability to produce quality products at lower costs to benefit the partnership. Borled, which commenced LED manufacturing in 2017, operates a facility capable of producing over a million lighting units monthly.
