Tadley Town Council objected to the initiative, though council officers recommended its approval, concluding that any disturbances would not significantly harm health or the environment. Despite requests from Ward Councillor Kevin Chatburn to impose restrictions on delivery times and lighting, officers deemed these conditions unreasonable for a 24/7 facility. After a debate, the committee ultimately approved the application with nine votes in favor, one against, and two abstentions.
