Workshop on Capacity Building Conducted as Rufaida College of Nursing Commemorates 27th Lamp Lighting Ceremony at Jamia Hamdard

The Centre for Training and Development at Jamia Hamdard, in collaboration with the National Minorities Development and Finance Corporation (NMDFC), conducted a successful three-day capacity building workshop from March 5 to March 7, 2025. The event featured participants from 15 states and focused on skill enhancement across various domains including leadership, project management, and financial management. Prominent figures, including Chief Guest C. P. S. Bakshi, emphasized the importance of skill-based education during the inaugural session. The workshop also included physiotherapy sessions to promote physical fitness, culminating in a memento distribution ceremony led by Chancellor Hammad Ahmed. Additionally, Jamia Hamdard celebrated National Science Day on February 28, highlighting the significance of science and technology in societal progress, and recognized labor in research with the release of 23 academic books. The 27th Lamp Lighting & Oath Taking Ceremony at Rufaida College of Nursing on February 27 marked the formal induction of 126 nursing students, reaffirming the college’s legacy in nursing education.
