Elinchrom Introduces Its First Continuous Light: The LED 100 C

Elinchrom has unveiled its first continuous lighting solution, the LED 100C, marking a significant expansion into continuous lighting for the company. Weighing just 0.91 kilograms (2.01 pounds), the bi-color LED light delivers a maximum output of 100 watts in CCT mode and 50 watts in RGB mode. It features a built-in 72Wh lithium-ion battery that allows for 40 minutes of use at full power, with rapid charging capabilities. The LED 100C offers an adjustable color temperature range of 2,700 to 6,500 Kelvin, 360-degree RGB color adjustments, and 15 special effects, all while ensuring flicker-free operation. Elinchrom plans to enhance its ecosystem with several accessories compatible with existing modifiers. The LED 100C is available for pre-order at $600 for a single light kit and $1,000 for a dual kit, although Elinchrom aims to eventually price them at $500 and $850, respectively.
