Agreement Reached for Installation of Solar High Mast Lights in Government Schools of Bhadrak District
Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Bhadrak District Administration to install solar high mast LED lights in nine government schools across the district, including seven Odisha Adarsh Vidyalayas, one Kendriya Vidyalaya, and one Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya. In line with its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives, MCL will provide funding of Rs 60 lakh for the project, which aims to improve security and create a conducive learning environment for students. The MoU was formalized by MCL’s General Manager for CSR, Bichitrananda Behera, and Bhadrak’s Deputy Collector, Tanmay Ranjan Jena, at MCL’s office in Bhubaneswar, highlighting MCL’s commitment to sustainable development and enhancing educational infrastructure.
