Hurricanes vs. Lightning Game Rescheduled

The NHL has postponed the game between the Carolina Hurricanes and the Tampa Bay Lightning that was set to occur on Saturday, Oct. 12, at Amalie arena in Tampa Bay, due to the effects of Hurricane Milton. A rescheduled date for the game will be announced once confirmed. Despite the postponement, both teams will still begin their seasons on Friday, Oct. 11, at Lenovo Center. The Hurricanes’ next match will be on Oct. 15 against the New Jersey Devils, while the Lightning were initially slated for a three-game homestand following their opener against Carolina. Further updates on the schedule will be forthcoming as the situation develops.
