The Derry Township Supervisors’ mini golf course committee met on Wednesday to discuss the progress of their community project. Key members, including Mifflin County High School educators and township staff, collaborated with local fabricator Bryson Wagner to brainstorm ideas for props and features on the course, which will consist of 15 holes sponsored by various businesses and a family. Notable contributions include a camping-themed hole sponsored by the Goodwin Family and a bear design with oversized glasses for a hole shared by Watson’s Optical and Dr. Dane Spriggle. The team plans to utilize CNC technology accessed by students to create these features, ensuring quality materials and designs fostered by community involvement. Further updates and ongoing planning will continue as the committee meets regularly to bring the course to fruition.
