El Rancho High Unveils New Stadium, Sports Fields, and Aquatic Center

El Rancho High School in Pico Rivera is set to unveil its significant $70 million upgrade on April 28, featuring the new Don Memorial stadium, three athletic fields, and an aquatic center. The community is invited to the grand opening event, beginning at 5 p.m. The renovation, financed by Measure ER— a $200 million school construction bond approved by voters in 2016—marks the first major facilities improvement since the school opened in 1952. The upgraded stadium will include new turf, lights, bleachers, and a CIF regulation pool, alongside enhanced facilities for athletes. El Rancho Unified School District Superintendent Marco Villegas highlighted the project as a commitment to student health and achievement, benefiting the local community for years to come.
