New High School and Career Center Officially Opens Following Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony Hosted by Ameresco and Matchbook Learning

Ameresco and Matchbook Learning celebrated the grand opening of The Match High School and Career Center in Indianapolis on April 3, 2025, marking the successful culmination of a $20 million project aimed at enhancing educational and career development. Through a partnership established following a competitive selection process, Ameresco managed the design, engineering, and construction of the school, which consists of two repurposed industrial buildings. The project features advanced energy efficiency upgrades, including building automation systems and a solar energy system set to be installed later this year. Designed to support a comprehensive curriculum, the school will provide vocational programs in areas such as construction trades and engineering, equipping students with essential skills for sustainable careers. Both organizations emphasized the project’s transformative impact on student learning and career opportunities.
