Rob Menschel, Experienced Sports Camera Operator, Passes Away at Age 59

Rob Menschel, a respected veteran in sports broadcasting known for his roles as a director, camera operator, and lighting director, has passed away at the age of 59. His colleagues at FanDuel honored him during a recent broadcast, praising his significant contributions to the industry over more than three decades. Menschel was particularly recognized for his long-standing work with Los Angeles Dodgers announcer Vin Scully, a relationship that lasted until Scully’s retirement in 2016. Tributes poured in from fellow professionals, who celebrated Menschel’s technical expertise and warm friendship. He is survived by his wife Andrea and their two sons, Kyle and Jared.
