Arrival of the 2025 Ford Transit Custom PHEV and E-Transit Custom Confirmed

Ford has unveiled pricing and specifications for its upcoming Transit Custom Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) and the all-electric E-Transit Custom, set to launch in the third quarter of this year. The PHEV models will be available in Trend and Sport configurations, priced at $67,590 and $69,990 respectively, while the E-Transit Custom starts at $77,590 and goes up to $79,990. The PHEVs feature a 171kW petrol-electric powertrain with a combined fuel consumption of 1.7L/100km and an electric-only range of up to 54km. The E-Transit Custom boasts a 160kW electric motor and a driving range of 301-307km, with rapid DC charging capabilities. Both models maintain a payload capacity of at least 1080kg and include standard features like adaptive cruise control, a 13-inch infotainment system, and various comfort enhancements, with more detailed specifications for the E-Transit expected to be released later.
