Leader Community Centre Revamps Stage with Contemporary Curtains and LED Lighting

The Leader and District Arts Council is set to enhance the Leader Community Centre stage with significant upgrades, including new fire-resistant curtains and state-of-the-art LED lighting. The old curtains, dating back to the late ’80s or early ’90s, needed replacement due to safety concerns, while the modernized lighting aims to improve performance visibility and ambiance. These improvements are expected to enrich the overall experience for both performers and audiences, elevating the quality of future performances. The project was inspired by community member Treena and executed with assistance from Production Lighting Ltd., who received commendations for their service. The arts council looks forward to showcasing these enhancements at their upcoming performances, offering a more polished and contemporary venue for the community.
