El Arcángel Receives Minor Enhancements Amid Broader Modernization Efforts

Ahead of matchday 7 in the Spanish second division, Córdoba CF’s Estadio El Arcángel has initiated minor modifications aimed at upgrading the stadium to meet federation standards. Enhancements include the introduction of match replays on the video scoreboard and improved lighting, boosting lighting efficiency by 20%. As the stadium currently only utilizes one scoreboard, fans in the Fondo Sur will experience the changes most noticeably, with future plans for two panoramic boards. Additionally, further renovations, including updates to the dugouts, are planned. These improvements come after the Local Government’s approval for the private use of the stadium’s facilities by Córdoba CF, signaling a commitment to ongoing modernization efforts. El Arcángel, originally built in 1993, has a current capacity of 21,822.
