Nijssen Klimaat- en Koudetechniek has successfully developed high-tech cultivation carts for a seed breeding company, incorporating dynamic LED lighting tailored to specific light spectrum requirements. These advanced carts are designed with an efficient irrigation system featuring ebb and flow bottoms and pressure-compensated drippers, optimizing water usage. Built with a robust aluminum frame and equipped with movable wheels, the carts offer flexibility in their deployment within climate chambers created by Nijssen, allowing for enhanced control over the cultivation process. Sales engineer Jordi Mol, who recently returned to the company, emphasized that this innovative project not only improves cultivation efficiency but also offers the capability to manually adjust light intensity per cultivation layer for increased flexibility.
