Bright New Lighting Installed at Shepparton's Cycling Velodrome

Cyclists in Greater Shepparton are set to benefit from enhanced facilities at the Shepparton Cycling Precinct Velodrome, following the installation of upgraded 300 lux LED lighting that meets AusCycling standards. Funded through the Victorian Government’s Regional sports Infrastructure Program, the upgrades not only improve training and competition conditions for local clubs but also position the venue to host larger BMX events with essential warm-up areas. Additional enhancements include a new multi-use pavilion at the BMX track offering improved facilities for spectators and participants alike. Officials, including the Shepparton Cycling Club President and local government leaders, have expressed enthusiasm for the developments, recognizing their potential to attract national events and support local cycling initiatives.
