Caitlin Clark Foundation Collaborates with Musco Lighting to Provide DMPS with Mini-Pitches
The Caitlin Clark Foundation and Musco Lighting have announced plans to open new soccer and basketball community courts at four Des Moines Public Schools—Hiatt, Callanan, McCombs, and Weeks Middle Schools—later this year. The Musco “Mini-Pitch” systems will provide modular sports fields equipped with goals, hoops, fencing, and lighting, accommodating various sports including soccer, basketball, and futsal. Superintendent Dr. Ian Roberts emphasized the initiative’s role in enhancing access to athletic activities for students, while Caitlin Clark Foundation President Mary Coffin highlighted the importance of these courts in fostering connections and teamwork among local youth. Musco CEO Jeff Rogers expressed pride in the collaboration, underscoring a shared commitment to enhancing recreational opportunities for children in the community.
