Clark's Foundation Makes a Difference in the Des Moines Community

Indiana Fever player Caitlin Clark is making significant contributions to her Des Moines community ahead of the 2025 WNBA season by launching a project through her foundation to build four multi-sport courts at local middle schools. The Caitlin Clark Foundation, in partnership with Musco sports Lighting, will create facilities at Hiatt, Callanan, McCombs, and Weeks Middle Schools that can host basketball, football, and futsal activities. Foundation president Mary Coffin emphasized that these courts will foster teamwork and communication skills among local youth, enhancing their educational journey. This initiative follows Clark’s previous philanthropic efforts, including the donation of thousands of children’s books and financial support to various organizations in Iowa. The new courts are expected to open later this year and symbolize Clark’s ongoing commitment to giving back to her community.
