Remee Wire & Cable has successfully installed its innovative PowerPipe Class 4 Fault-Managed Power (FMP) Cabling System at Mouser Electronics’ newly expanded warehouse, aimed at managing the largest Class 4 LED lighting system in existence. This advanced cabling system not only enhances energy efficiency but also allows more flexible control over lighting while minimizing material usage. Sinclair Digital Services, Inc. spearheaded the project, selecting Remee for their expertise in Class 4 FMP technology and custom cable solutions that combine fiber optics and copper cabling into a single unit, streamlining installation and reducing costs. The new system leverages Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) technology with a DC-powered infrastructure, significantly decreasing carbon footprint and operational expenses. Remee’s PowerPipe hybrid cables are part of their Activate Power Distribution Cables, designed for a broad range of applications, reinforcing the company’s position as a leader in the wire and cable manufacturing industry.
