Cologne Cathedral has unveiled a new lighting system just in time for the Easter holiday, enhancing its grandeur with over 700 LED lamps mounted directly on the structure. Previously relying on spotlights from surrounding buildings, this upgrade dramatically improves the visibility of the cathedral’s intricate façade reliefs, niches, and Gothic ornaments. The adjustable white lighting can now adapt to the seasons, featuring cooler tones in the summer and warmer hues in the winter, ensuring that the iconic landmark remains a stunning visual highlight on the Rhine throughout the year.
