Caretakers, working under the supervision of the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI), are focused on cleaning, painting, and installing approximately 400 colorful LED lights in preparation for the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations. The mosque is currently at the center of controversy, with Hindu petitioners claiming it is built on the site of a former temple.
