Dillingham Promotes Young Talent on Arizona State Football Team

Arizona State football head coach Kenny Dillingham is calling on young players to step up as the team prepares for the upcoming season. Following their first spring scrimmage, Dillingham emphasized the need for six to twelve more young players, ranging from redshirt sophomores to true freshmen, to demonstrate their readiness and reliability. Notably, transformative players, including true freshman tight end AJ Ia and true sophomore linebacker Martell Hughes, have caught Dillingham’s attention for their performance. With some young athletes still adjusting to the demands of college football, Dillingham is keen for them to grasp the system quickly and contribute significantly. As the Spring Camp progresses, the Sun Devils are looking for more young talents to emerge, particularly in positions like wide receiver, where the departure of current starters offers an opportunity for new faces to shine.
