As we near the peak of the annual Geminid meteor shower, this week presents an excellent opportunity for stargazers to witness the celestial spectacle. On clear nights leading up to the peak, which occurs from Friday night into early Saturday morning, viewers could see an increasing number of meteors, with rates potentially reaching up to 100 per hour at the peak.
