On Wednesday afternoon, the LichtEvent in Bleiswijk showcased the latest advancements in lighting technology for horticulture, drawing a significant turnout from growers. The program featured a panel discussion led by Anja Dieleman of Wageningen University & Research, who highlighted five key trends, including the transition from HPS to full LED lighting. Growers Lars van Baar, Harry Wubben, and Ruud Duijvesteijn shared their experiences with LED systems, which have become increasingly adopted in their greenhouses. Workshops and tours of greenhouses by Delphy and Wageningen University provided hands-on insights about dynamic lighting and spectrum selection.
