Favorable Weather Helps City Crews with Christmas Light Installation

City crews in Steinbach are taking advantage of pleasant weather to install festive Christmas lights along Main Street. With the sun shining and temperatures reaching 16C, workers began the installation process, which involves adorning approximately 110 trees with around 36,000 LED lights. Although temperatures are expected to drop into the single digits later in the week, the city aims to complete the project over the next week, after waiting for the leaves to fall. In addition to the Main Street decorations, lights will also be added near City Hall, by the water tower, and at the gazebo in KR Barkman Park, creating a festive atmosphere for residents ahead of the holiday season. The lights are expected to be illuminated by mid-November, brightening the streets during the longer nights.
