Fresh Illumination Installed at Waratah Reserve

The lighting upgrade at pitch one of Waratah Reserve in Eummemring has been officially completed, with City of Casey Mayor Stefan Koomen and Gabrielle Williams MP celebrating the occasion alongside Doveton soccer Club representatives. The new LED lights, which significantly enhance visibility and safety, utilize existing infrastructure and feature three new poles, each outfitted with powerful lighting that replaces outdated metal halide fixtures. Koomen hailed the project as a transformative boost for the local sporting community, creating a more accessible environment for players of all ages. The upgrades were funded through a partnership between the City of Casey and the Victorian Government’s Local sports Infrastructure Fund.
