Hanon Systems Secures Third PACE Award for Innovative Visible-Light LED Photocatalyst Technology

Hanon Systems has been honored with the 2025 PACE Award for the third time, solidifying its position as the first Korean supplier to receive such recognition. The award, presented on April 15 in Detroit, acknowledges the company’s innovative visible-light LED photocatalyst technology, which significantly improves in-vehicle air quality by achieving 98.5% virus sterilization and 97.5% gas deodorization. This technology, featured in Hyundai’s flagship G90 sedan, operates without generating harmful electromagnetic waves or ozone, distinguishing it from traditional air purification solutions.
