Coventry School celebrated a significant milestone this week as the new LED lights on its soccer field illuminated a match between Coventry and Troy, marking the culmination of a two-year effort spearheaded by School Board Vice-Chair Sarah Bathalon. The lights, made possible through the generous donations and hard work of local volunteers, enhance not only the athletic experience for students but also open the field for community events. Bathalon expressed gratitude for the community’s support, particularly acknowledging Dan Rondeau from Gates Electric for his invaluable project management. The event also recognized eight 8th graders from both teams, making it a memorable night under the new lights.
