Individual Arrested for Arson After Setting Bookbags Ablaze at Brunswick Academy Sports

A 44-year-old man, James Morris, has been arrested and charged with first-degree arson and criminal damage to property after allegedly starting fires inside an Academy sports store in Brunswick, Georgia. Police reported that Morris ignited several book bags before fleeing to a nearby business, where he was apprehended by officers. Store employees, with assistance from the Glynn County Fire Department, managed to extinguish the flames, and authorities confirmed the area was safe following the incident. Morris is currently being held in Glynn County jail.
