Insurance Technology Company Secures Million in Funding Led by Beams Fintech Fund
Private equity investor Beams Fintech Fund announced a significant follow-on investment in InsuranceDekho as part of a $70 million funding round co-led with Japan’s Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group and insurer BNP Paribas Cardif. Founded in 2017, InsuranceDekho has served over 10.2 million customers and issues 21 new policies every minute, making it a formidable competitor in India’s insurance-tech market. The new capital will facilitate the company’s expansion, enhance its technology offerings, and reinforce its position in the sector. With a network of 220,000 partners and partnerships with 49 insurers, InsuranceDekho continues to capitalize on India’s underpenetrated insurance market. This investment marks Beams Fintech Fund’s second foray in 2025, bringing its total investment to over Rs 300 crore, with a focus on fintech and financial services.
