Jufei Opto, a Chinese LED manufacturer, has recently entered into a red phosphor license agreement with GE Lighting, acquiring global patent application rights for GE’s potassium fluorosilicate (PFS) phosphors. This technology is crucial for enhancing the wide color gamut performance of LEDs. Jufei Opto, which boasts over 100 patents related to ultra-thin LEDs and high-reliability performances, aims to leverage GE’s phosphor technology to enhance its high-end product offerings and strengthen its position in the global market amidst growing demand.
