Lane Closures Expected on Route 52 Causeway Due to Lighting Upgrades

The Route 52 Causeway leading to Ninth Street in Ocean City and Somers Point will experience single-lane closures in both directions over the next several months due to a lighting rehabilitation project. Scheduled from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekdays, the closures will begin with the southbound lane and progress to the northbound lanes, starting from the left lane to the right. This $2.9 million state-funded project aims to enhance lighting infrastructure and is expected to conclude in spring.
