LED Forest ‘Entwined’ Will Not Be Back at Golden Gate Park for the Holiday Season

Fans of the popular LED installation “Entwined” will be disappointed to learn that it will not be returning to Golden Gate Park for the holiday season in 2024. The stunning LED forest, created by artist Charles Gadeken, made its debut in 2020 and became a holiday favorite, but this year it will be replaced by the Solar Arch, another LED installation by artist fnnch. However, there will still be a Holiday Tree Lighting ceremony on December 5, featuring the longstanding Uncle John’s Tree and various festival activities. Gadeken has expressed hopes of bringing “Entwined” back in the future, and portions of the installation can still be seen at Civic Center in San Francisco and event displays in Laguna Beach, California.
