Light Engine Initiates Mass Production of LEDs in the Philippines

US-based Light Engine is set to begin mass production of LED products in the Philippines in collaboration with local electronics manufacturer Cirtek Holdings Philippines Inc. While Light Engine operates its corporate office in the United States and maintains a research and development center in Russia, Cirtek specializes in turnkey solutions for semiconductor devices, offering services from package design to final testing. In addition to this partnership, Cirtek is exploring further business opportunities with long-time partner CamSemi, which focuses on energy-efficient power management for electronics and mobile device chargers. Cirtek, which has worked with CamSemi since 2008, recently received a plaque of appreciation for its contributions to the development of new products.
