Lights in the Parkway in Allentown Set to Return on November 29

The City of Allentown is excited to announce the return of its cherished holiday event, Lights in the Parkway, which will light up Lehigh Parkway from November 29, 2024, through January 6, 2025. Open nightly from 5:30 to 10 p.m., except on Christmas and New Year’s Day, the drive-through attraction features over a mile of dazzling displays made with more than 175,000 LED lights. New this year, the event will include partnerships with several local organizations, including Lehigh Valley Reilly Children’s Hospital, enhancing the visitor experience with special giveaways and activities. Select Mondays will also offer the “Move It Mondays” series, allowing visitors to explore the lights on foot or by bike. Ticket sales are online only, with proceeds benefiting Allentown non-profits, and new energy-efficient installations underscore the city’s commitment to sustainability.
