A recent report from TeamBHP has highlighted a significant moisture condensation issue affecting the front LED lighting assemblies—headlights, daytime running lights (DRLs), and fog lights—of the 2023 KIA Seltos. Owners have noted that this defect not only damages the light assemblies over time but also compromises road safety due to dangerously low visibility caused by malfunctioning lights. The issue appears to extend across various KIA models, including the Sonet and Carens, with reports of failed lights surfacing within just a few months of vehicle ownership. Many affected drivers have already raised concerns with KIA, which has considered temporary replacements; however, these solutions do not address the underlying manufacturing flaw. TeamBHP has called on KIA to acknowledge the defect and provide a permanent solution, urging potential buyers to reconsider their purchase due to these persistent safety issues.
