New Aputure Storm XT52 Launches as the Most Powerful Color-Adjustable LED Light

Aputure has officially launched the Storm XT52, their latest and most powerful addition to the Storm lighting line for filmmakers. This flagship LED light, equipped with the innovative BLAIR light engine, claims the title of the industry’s brightest tunable white point source LED, offering an extensive range of white light from 2500° to 10,000° Kelvin and coverage of over 70% of the Rec2020 color space. Weighing just 27.7 kg, the Storm XT52 is designed for ease of use on set, compatible with standard equipment and capable of functioning from a portable generator. It features advanced color adjustability, including a Limited HSIC+ mode, and excels in brightness, achieving a category-leading output of 41,900 Lux at 5600K. The Storm XT52’s rugged construction and IP65 weather rating make it suitable for any production environment. Aputure will showcase this new product at the NAB Show 2025 in Las Vegas.
