New Chairman of the Board of Directors Appointed at Lighting Science Group

Lighting Science Group has announced the appointment of James “Jim” Haworth as the new chairman of its board of directors, adding to his role as Chief Executive Officer. Haworth brings extensive experience from his previous positions, including a senior executive role at Philips Professional Luminaires North America, where he managed all upstream marketing functions for three years. His prior experience also includes serving as president and CEO of JJI Lighting Group, which he sold to Genlyte Group in 2006, a company later acquired by Philips in 2008.
