New Festoon Lighting Set to Brighten Downtown Holdrege’s Iron Horse Arts District

The Iron Horse Arts District is set to enhance downtown Holdrege, Nebraska, with the installation of festive overhead lighting, scheduled to begin on March 17 and conclude on March 18. This decorative feature will span both East and West Avenues between 5th and 3rd Avenues, creating a vibrant atmosphere for residents and visitors. A community celebration will be held on March 21 at 7:30 p.m. outside The Drive Golf & Lounge, marking the unveiling of this new lighting with remarks from local leaders and a cake reception. Executive Director Cassie Ehrenberg emphasized that the project, supported by various local organizations and businesses, symbolizes the district’s commitment to fostering community spirit and enhancing the visual appeal of the area.
