New Lighting Systems Unveiled at Jerry Cline Tennis Facility in Albuquerque

Albuquerque’s Jerry Cline tennis Facility has received a significant upgrade with the installation of new energy-efficient LED lighting, enhancing the experience for players and ensuring compliance with U.S. Tennis Association standards. Operated by the City’s Parks and Recreation Department, the improved lighting not only brightens the courts, making evening matches more enjoyable, but also reduces eye strain and shadow, contributing to better gameplay. This enhancement follows the city’s recent resurfacing of eight of the facility’s 18 courts, affirming its status as Albuquerque’s busiest tennis venue. Deputy Director David Flores highlighted the positive impact of the new lights on players’ experiences.
